I grew up around computers because my father and brother insisted I learn them and I started on the command line. I started my career in operations and programming in debit payment networks while simultaneously attending Chubb, college, and obtaining certificates. Currently, I work as a Principal Application Engineer still in the debit payment networks.
The repair business started by word of mouth and has run alongside that IT career for about 20 years. People kept calling because the price was fair and the work got done. On site service are avaiable in northern New Jersey and the surrounding areas but remote support is always available.

Short answers. Call if yours is not here.
Less often, not never. Windows is still the bigger target, and a Windows virus will not run on a Mac. Macs still get malware, phishing, and bad browser extensions.
Virus is the word most people use for any infection. Malware is the umbrella. Adware throws pop-ups. Spyware is looking for logins and personal information.
Almost never. Viruses damage files and settings. A dead printer, video card, or drive is usually a hardware or driver problem, not a virus.
A full erase and reinstall almost always does. It can come back from an infected backup, a USB drive, or another computer on the same network.
Yes. Pickup and remote help are also available, whichever is faster for the problem.
